Remove stubborn cement residues from new tiles with alcohol

Anyone who has had a new bathroom installed, knows this nasty cement veil, which is back after every cleaning. I have now heard from a tiler the following tip:

Get pure alcohol - drugstore or hardware store. This is used to rub a piece of tile with a clean cloth. First you try carefully on a small corner - you first have to gain confidence in this method. Afterwards wipe immediately with hot water - then dry with a dry, clean cloth. Now follows the cosmetics: Rub the tiles thinly with car wax.

It worked well for me. And for further cleaning actions: You usually only need to rub with a dry cloth vigorously over the tiles, that's enough for a few months!
