Remove unpleasant odor from cooking laundry

A tip against unpleasant smelling kitchen linen. (Towels, bath towels, tea towels ect.)

Since I'm totally happy and relieved that the topic is finally over for me, I'd like to share with you what I did after tasting almost every FM tip on the subject.

For a start, no, I do not know how it came to the rather unpleasant smell, it is and always was a mystery to me. The machine was even quite new when this problem suddenly started. Despite using dishwashing detergent, thoroughly cleaning the machine, detergent drawer, sealing ring, using soda and vinegar, using scented towels in the dryer (these were my penultimate attempt - although I'm totally against it.)

Whatever brought a little improvement, after the first use of the towel, the smell came through again.

My solution:

Then I just put 1 cap (100 ml) of dishwashing powder directly into the washing machine, on the cooking linen and washed with the cooking linen program (hot). (Detergent as usual)

After the first time, the result was excellent! As a precaution, I repeated the whole thing again and the laundry smells quite normal again.

The unpleasant smell did not come back again.
