Remove wax from smooth surfaces: fast, dry, without mess and at room temperature.

Plastic scraper (or check card, identity card). Hard enough to scrape off wax, soft enough not to scratch.
Paper towel (kitchen towel, handkerchief or similar)
First scrape off the coarse with the plastic scraper. This usually leaves thin streaks that can be removed in a second step with a dry paper towel. The dry cloth absorbs the wax.
