Repair Knit Pro Knitting Needles

The first time I tried these knitting needles, a needle broke when I twisted them. First I tried to fix that with Tesafilm.

But did not work that way. First, the wool thread was not so easy to push over the needle and secondly, the Tesafilm after the second row of knitting has also released again.

Then I came up with the idea to try it with superglue. I then removed the excess of glue with a nail file. And lo and behold the knitting needle looks like new again. She is also pretty smooth again.

But be careful when gluing I've used a clothespin to hold the needle, so that no glue on the fingers.
