Repairing quirks / shadows on white walls

Everyone knows the problem ...

You better quirks in your walls and although you use the same wall paint or even the same paint pot, the newly painted surfaces are whiter and shinier? When moving, the walls of the old apartment have to be repainted to get back the deposit, but you have neither time nor desire? In the new apartment, the traces of the previous tenant can still be seen through the one or other shadow, otherwise the painting is still quite ok and you would rather mend and save money?

Well, what now? Here is the tip, from the bag of painters and painters. Because every wall color can be darkened with a simple and inexpensive trick:
Take a cigarette break and turn the paint pot into an ashtray! (How this idea came about, you can almost think ... but you can do without the filter confidently)

But it works! The ash of each cigarette creates about 1 nuance in the beige-gray area.

My tip: be careful with the darkening of the color. In between, make Probeantriche and let dry (if necessary, also with the hair dryer help), because as the color is then brighter, I do not know yet :)
