Replacement for a magnifying glass
At some point, I got a tip on how to better read fine print, if you do not have a magnifying glass or glasses at hand:
You strongly angle an index finger in such a way that the first finger joint on the skin lies between your thumb and forefinger. It remains in the flexion of the pointer finger joint, a small opening - it should be slightly larger than a pinhead.
If you look through this small "hole" on the fine print, the letters appear enlarged.
Why it is like that? No idea - but it works! Give it a try.
