Replacement for cat grass
Some of my foster cats did not like cat grass. It only dried up or molded and was wasted money.
Then I noticed that these cats were nibbling on my green lilies. They grow like weeds. For cats, the green lilies are not poisonous and since there were always many offshoots, I have grown green lilies for the cats. They grow fast and are a great replacement for cat grass. The green lilies were even nibbled on by the cats who otherwise got cat grass.
Green lilies are also a nice decoration in the apartment.
Only when fertilizing the plants should one use only natural fertilizers: e.g. Coffee grounds from the coffee filter, stale nettle broth or broth from pickled egg shells.
