Retterspitz against severe sore throat
For quite severe sore throats, an tonsillitis or a side-hung trachina, I got a neck wrap with Retterspitz as a child.
Even today it is my true miracle cure. Retterspitz gets her in every pharmacy. Unfortunately, the smallest bottle is already very large (350ml), but it is not bad and can be used well for other ailments.
Just take a kitchen towel and fold it to fit around your neck. Then Retterspitz on it ... not too much that you can wring it out, but already that it is wet. It is best to turn the bottle over, put a towel on it and pull the bottle over the cloth lengthwise.
Then off with it around the neck. Just a thin cloth or a scarf drum and ready. The whole thing should be worn around the neck for at least 1.5 hours. But it works best overnight.
After two days the sore throat is forgotten!
