rice pudding

Easy and without weighing too much.

ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ liter glass with rice
  • ¼ liter of glass with sugar
  • 250 g Viennese curds coarse, (for Germany: curd cheese = cottage cheese)
  • ½ liter of milk
  • Currant juice

preparation

Beat the 2 eggs in a mixing bowl and whisk. Add rice and sugar and mix. Add the curd cheese and mix. Pour the whole on a baking tray and distribute. (Can also be a casserole dish). Carefully pour the milk over it. The whole thing at low Tamperatur (for gas stove level 3) about 45 minutes in the oven until the rice casserole is slightly brown. Serve on a plate and pour over some redcurrant juice. Can also be eaten cold, of course.
