Roasted Brussels sprouts leaves

Since Brussels sprouts my husband does not like so much, but I the better, I have tried another variant. The Brussels sprouts are cut into individual leaves. They are then steamed in melted butter, to which I add a few almonds (about 2-3 minutes). Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg and serve immediately.

From now on my husband likes to eat Brussels sprouts too, it's just a bit more work. And that's exactly why I came up with an idea that I apply from now on.

I buy big Brussels sprouts, remove the leaves as far as they can be removed well and freeze the little heads. So I have some for a soup, or I make it only for me alone. Because .... I'm a big Brussels sprouts fan.
