Rose Face Mask
I used this delicate scented mask every now and then in late summer, and now in the fall, when the last roses are still blooming, I want to introduce the recipe.
You need:
- 2 tbsp quark (which fat level is appropriate, is related to your skin type, low fat quark is refreshing and cooling, rich in dry skin is fatty quark)
- 1 tsp honey (can be omitted)
- 1 rose blossom (remove rose petals, rinse off and pat dry with a clean dishcloth)
That's how it's done:
Puree curd cheese and rose petals (and honey) with the hand blender. Divide the resulting mass into two portions (each serving is sufficient for one application).
Application:
- Apply the mass to the cleansed face, leave on for about 6 minutes and rinse off.
- It is recommended to tie the hair back tight and to keep it with a headband from the face.
- Then apply facial cream (I recommend Biocura or Lacura by Aldi).
- Packed airtight, the second portion holds about two days (or longer I have not let them stand).
