Rum balls from leftovers of cake

Rum balls always taste good and this is our absolute favorite recipe, but we always pick up all the cake leftovers, mostly frozen, which we then thaw and use for the day.

ingredients

  • 500 g cake (leftovers)
  • 4 tbsp rum
  • 125 ml of water
  • 125 g palm fat
  • 65 g of powdered sugar
  • 20 g of cocoa powder
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 egg
  • a little rum flavor
  • 1 packet of chocolate sprinkles

preparation

  1. Crumble all the cake leftovers in a bowl, drizzle with water, the rum and the rum aroma and set aside.
  2. Melt the coconut oil and allow to cool.
  3. Add the remaining ingredients including the coconut oil to the cake crumbs and mix well.
  4. From the mass form small balls and turn in the chocolate sprinkles.

In the fridge, the balls are then fixed.
