Rust or so-called extraneous rust in stainless steel cooking pots & bowls

The topic has been discussed several times and I've tried all the tips, but so far without the right success.

Fact: our Tefal stainless steel saucepans, which are several years old and reasonably priced, have rust stains and discoloration on the inside, and some often used stainless steel bowls as well. Yes, they are rinsed in the dishwasher (modern, gently cleaning Bosch dishwasher) and they will continue, otherwise I do not need a dishwasher :)

After the previous tips did not really work out, I put a shot of leftover Coke in a pot and half a pack of baking soda on a whim. I then left this mixture for about 10 minutes and then wiped the pot with a Vileda sponge (black side) without much pressure.

Result: All gone! Of course I realize that will come back, but this kind of removal is quick, easy and cheap. Incidentally, acquaintances with a huper-duper AMC pot set for the price getaway, exactly the same problem, it can not really be due to the quality of the pots.

If I made a double tip here now, I apologize, but in this combination I have not found it on the net yet.
