Sausages in puff pastry
Time
Total preparation time: 30 min.
If you want to go fast or the visit stays surprisingly longer - here is a recipe for a quick, satisfying meal.
I always have puff pastry in the freezer, and one, two glasses of sausages are usually still in the storage cabinet!
I often make the sausages when it is said that the children should bring something for the buffet in the school, etc. But I also like a fresh mixed salad or coleslaw. Anyone can do that as they like!
ingredients
- 1 pack of frozen puff pastry (also available in square shape / content 10 pieces)
- 2 glasses of sausage (or 10 sausages)
- 1 egg yolk
preparation
- Cook the puff pastry for about 10 minutes according to instructions, then roll in the sausages (one slice per slice).
- Brush with egg yolk and bake in a preheated oven, on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, for about 20 minutes at about 200 degrees golden yellow (each oven is different, so watch necessarily).
- Allow to cool slightly, but serve warm, as it tastes best (but it can also be eaten cold).
If you want, take mustard. With us there are mostly coleslaw - but this is not absolutely necessary - but it tastes good to us.
