Save cleaning cartridges for razors

If you go after the manual, you should every two or three days his Braser razor put in the cleaning station for cleaning and disinfection. After about 20 - 30 cleaning procedures, the cartridge should be disposed of, makes for a 5-pack between 18? and 30?, depending on where you buy the cartridges.

How can you save something there?

If you have an oral irrigator, you can with an unused nozzle (something dirty, so do not use for the mouth!) Pre-clean the shaving head, the irrigator serves as a kind of high-pressure cleaner. If the biggest stubble etc. have been eliminated, you can put the shaver in the cleaning station. I clean the shaving head every 3-4 days, that's good enough. If the cartridge is then "ready" (first the cartridge icon flashes, if the symbol burns constantly, the cartridge must be changed) rinse this (contaminated) cartridge with clear water, let flow into the small hole with the fleece the water and let go out at the big hole again. If only clear water comes out, let the water run out completely and refill with a special scissors cleaner (1 liter ~ 15? +/-) (syringe or measuring cup - fit into the cartridge 170 ml). That way you do not need new cartridges anymore.

Another additional tip

After the cleaning and charging process is completed, you can close the two holes of the cartridge with the plastic sleeves, so that no cleaning liquid (consisting mainly of alcohol) evaporates. (I have not done that yet, but it is because the cleaning station is a bit unfavorable and then rather the risk that I dump the liquid).

I think, so you do not need more cartridges for a long time. One can also "prepare" a possibly existing used cartridge and seal it with the plastic vice and, after the change, empty the (contaminated) cartridge, rinse it several times, fill it, seal it and put it "in stock".

There are different types of shaver, some have different "fragrances" or types of alcohol inside, there you have to see which fragrance you like the most, just give it a try. Possibly. could a drop of shaving oil (possibly tuts also creeping oil) on the shaving head not hurt. There are some tutorials on YouTube on this topic, etc.
