Save or spice up a dry cake
Recently I tried a new cake recipe and was very disappointed because it was so dry. Then it occurred to me that you could make a knitting cake to save the cake and spice it up.
I did it that way
For drinking I mixed 250 ml strong coffee, 2 tablespoons sugar, 3 tablespoons cocoa, 1-2 tablespoons rum or Amaretto.
Punch holes in the cake with a knitting needle and sprinkle the mixture on it with a spoon.
On top then still beaten egg cream cream and the cake is saved.
