Save water with a simple trick

A lot of drinking water runs unnecessarily into the drain in search of the right temperature. For the past year, I have adjusted all my under counter boilers according to the temperature so that the water comes out of the faucet just as warmly when the handle of the single-lever mixer points exactly to the center. At the hand basin and also the sink.

It was a little learning process for my family, but now everyone is very happy with it, because there are no more unpleasant hot - ups, surprises, and not too cold for the tooth cup. With "lukewarm" you can clean the most, more is often not necessary. Another temperature is to have, if necessary. but everyone knows, "middle" means comfortable, you do not have to try it for long and it's also easy to remember.

I think it could also be with a normal hot water connection, if you simply turn on the hot water inflow under the pool a little more open or close, so that the mixing temperature above then then can be adjusted. Expensive mixer taps can probably do that by themselves, but older and simpler parts are sometimes a struggle.
