Schupfnudelpfanne with sauerkraut

Schupfnudelpfanne with sauerkraut, approx. 4 persons:

ingredients

  • 400 g bacon
  • 2 cans of sauerkraut (à 770 g drained weight)
  • 2 packs (à 500 g) Schupfnudeln from the refrigerated shelf
  • 200 g of sour cream or crème fraîche
  • 1 bunch of chives
  • Salt, pepper, paprika noble sweet

preparation

  1. In a large pan, skim the bacon with a little oil.
  2. Remove the bacon and fry the Schupfnudeln golden brown with a little more oil (this is my tip: not all at once, but to distribute 2 portions).
  3. When the potato noodles are seared, add the bacon again.
  4. Add the sauerkraut and heat everything for about 3 minutes.
  5. Just before serving, add the sour cream and sprinkle with the chives.

Tip if children are in the household

Since my 2 children do not like sauerkraut, I fry some Nuremberg sausages in another pan and then put them on top (as Smilie) ... lo and behold ... the sauerkraut is not that bad anymore ...
