Scrambled eggs something different

Total preparation time: 30 min.

Since you can not only prepare Chinese cabbage as a salad, but also let it sear wonderful, I recently had the idea for this fast and easy dish.

Ingredients (for 2-3 servings)

  • 1 Chinese cabbage
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 2 peppers
  • a little clarified butter
  • 125 g ham cubes
  • 5 eggs (it can be 6)
  • as spices pepper from the mill, salt, cumin and a little nutmeg

preparation

  1. First the cabbage is washed, the outer leaves are removed, some of the stalk cut out and then the cabbage cut into fine strips.
  2. In a pan, butter lard and ham cubes are heated, then the cabbage is added and sautéed over moderate heat, turning over and over again.
  3. Tomatoes and peppers cut into small pieces are also fried.
  4. Season well with pepper, salt, cumin and nutmeg to taste. If everything is well-fried, add the eggs at the end and everything is stirred until the eggs falter. Maybe spice something up.

When frying, some moisture forms on the pan (probably through the tomatoes), but that did not bother us. If you want, you could leave the liquid on the pan during serving.

Fresh, crispy wholemeal bread with butter, which I just baked, tastes best? delicious! But you can also go to potatoes.
