This very tasty and easy-to-prepare tomato-paprika-sheep's cheese-pot is a very fine vegetarian appetizer, which is also good as a main course. A herb or garlic bread goes very well with it, as well as a fresh salad or potatoes.
Ingredients (for 1 person)
- 100 g feta cheese and / or goat's cheese
- 2 little colorful peppers
- A few cherry tomatoes
- 1-2 cloves garlic pressed
- A few olives (I had green stuffed with garlic)
- A little olive oil
- Oregano (dried)
- Basil (dried)
- salt and pepper
- cayenne pepper
- ½ onion
- a little lemon juice
- 1 ovenproof shape with lid or piece of aluminum foil
preparation
- First, the oven is preheated to about 200-250 degrees (something comes on the stove).
- Cut the sheep or goat's cheese into about 4 slices.
- Wash the peppers and cut into strips or pieces.
- Washing cherry tomatoes, I had halved them in part, but not all.
- Slice olives.
- Cut the 1/2 onion into thin slices.
- Press garlic cloves or use garlic paste.
- Now layer all ingredients into the dish, starting with the cheese, then peppers, tomatoes and onions. Put the garlic in between and drizzle with a little olive oil and lemon juice.
- Season with salt and pepper, oregano, basil and cayenne pepper to taste.
- Cover with lid or aluminum foil and put in the oven for about 15 minutes. Then cover without lid for another 10-15 minutes, so that the cheese is soft and especially the onions are cooked.
In addition a delicious herb or garlic bread and a fresh lettuce, hmm delicious!
Of course, you can also choose other herbs to choose and taste, I like these best. If you have fresh herbs at home, I would recommend this.
