Shorten slat blind

Yes, that you do not have to let it down completely and the rest of the slats below all lie together all at once and then hang the cord down really long, anyone can! But if the blind hung on the balcony door and should now be at the window, that's a lot of what lies on top of each other.

So: The blind in the height as you like (quiet a little longer) cut off. Pull out the lower sipe and pull in the former bottom slat, because it is a bit thicker and stabilized.

The cord can now be shortened, but please, please in lowered state of the blind - sure, because otherwise it is only a tiny piece down :-)

The whole thing should only be done if you do not move tomorrow or the new purchase in the event of a move is affordable.
