Simple carrot salad

Carrot salad is healthy and delicious.

ingredients

  • 500 g of carrots
  • 2-3 apples
  • lemon juice
  • sugar
  • olive oil
  • (it tastes best to me) optional chopped almonds / hazelnuts so it really crashes; o)

preparation

  1. Peel and clean the carrots and grate into thin strips. Something machine-operated for shredding would be very convenient.
  2. Peel, core and quarter the apples and also into the shredder. In any case, the apples should be peeled, because the whole salad is otherwise very mushy.
  3. Pour apples and carrots into a large bowl, season with citric acid and sugar, add a dash of oil and mix well.
  4. Optionally, I still like to add chopped hazelnuts. Then let it sit in the fridge for half an hour. And you have a very fresh, light salad.
