Simple carrot salad

Carrot salad is healthy and delicious.
ingredients
- 500 g of carrots
- 2-3 apples
- lemon juice
- sugar
- olive oil
- (it tastes best to me) optional chopped almonds / hazelnuts so it really crashes; o)
preparation
- Peel and clean the carrots and grate into thin strips. Something machine-operated for shredding would be very convenient.
- Peel, core and quarter the apples and also into the shredder. In any case, the apples should be peeled, because the whole salad is otherwise very mushy.
- Pour apples and carrots into a large bowl, season with citric acid and sugar, add a dash of oil and mix well.
- Optionally, I still like to add chopped hazelnuts. Then let it sit in the fridge for half an hour. And you have a very fresh, light salad.
