Simple greek baked potatoes
If the hunger for something fine comes, then I can only recommend this recipe.
ingredients
- 2 kg of potatoes, peeled and cut into thick slices.
- 1 cup of water (can also be 1 1/2 cups depending on the variety)
- 10 teaspoons olive oil
- The juice of a lemon
- 2 teaspoons oregano
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
If you like you can also add curry or chilli.
preparation
Now put all the ingredients in a large bowl and stir well, so that all potatoes are covered with the mixture.
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees above-below heat.
Put the contents of the bowl on a baking sheet covered with baking paper and place it in the oven.
The water softens the potatoes from the inside and has a tasty crust on the outside.
The potatoes should be buttery soft after about 35-45 minutes from the inside.
