Simple "spice up" simple shirts

Here is an idea how to "beautify" and "spice up" simple shirts with little effort and at a very reasonable price:

I had a monochrome, slightly boring, red long sleeve shirt in the closet, which I wanted to make a bit prettier. For this, I have in the 1-Euro-S a box with sequins concerned and sewn on the shirt. That sounds more difficult than it sounds. Anyone who can sew a button also creates a sequin. I had imagined it myself much more complicated, with the very first it was therefore a bit bumpy, but after 5-10 sequins you have the bow out, so to speak.

It goes like this: First I marked the spots on the shirt with a very soft pencil, on which I then wanted to sew on the sequins. Then it was time to sew. You put the sequin on the fabric and hold it at the edge. The sequins have a small hole in the middle, through which you pierce the needle from the bottom side through the fabric. On the left side of the fabric you can hang the thread a few inches. After you have stabbed the fabric next to the sequin from the right side, cut off the thread in the same length and knot both ends well. So you sewn each sequin individually. This is of course time consuming, but has the advantage that - if a thread breaks - not all sequins fall off, but only one.

The sequins can be fixed either with only one stitch, or with two in a line or with three, then in Y-shape.

I figured that out on the drawing, I hope you can do something with it For the first time, the result is quite successful, but of course you can not argue about taste ...
