Simply and clean your glasses
There are many tips to clean your glasses. Most have in common that you should clean with any towels. From a longtime employee of a well-known eyeglass lens company, I have the following simple tip, which I use since then:
It is actually quite simple
- Moisten the lenses under running water
- Drop liquid soap (if necessary detergent) between your fingers
- Clean the glasses with fingers on both sides, may gently foam slightly
- Rinse glasses under faucet, AND ZWAR SO: Setting a thin, smooth jet of water and "scanning" the glass with it - means that all the small sticky drops are entrained in the process.
- If you do that well, the glasses are always dry afterwards. Otherwise you can easily absorb sticky drops of water with a piece of toilet paper or handkerchief.
This method prevents any dry or dirt-laden rubbing on the glasses. The surface thanks you with a long shelf life!
There are also no streaks of any cleaning cloths.
