Simply make pendant of silver wire yourself
You can easily make these beautiful silver wire pendants yourself. There are no limits for the fanatasy.
For some time now, I have had a large amount of semi-precious stones at home that I have collected over the years. Amethysts, Aventurines, Onyxes, Rose Quartz and more. And at some point I thought, you should not just use it for decoration, but also something to do with it. So I came up with the idea with the chain trailers.
Step-by-Step Guide
Steps 1-3:
Picture 1) All you need is a stone that you like (I recommend to take a pre-drilled hole in the beginning) and silver wire. In this case I take a 0.6 mm diameter. You can get both easily in the craft supplies or on the Internet. You also need a pencil or similar. as well as a side cutter and a telephone pliers (to see in the pictures).
Picture 2) From the wire I cut 4 of the same pieces about 20 cm long (my stone is about 3 cm, for smaller stones a little shorter). These I thread through the hole in the stone.
Picture 3) From each 2 wires I bend the protruding ends to the right and left top, the others as well downwards.
Steps 4-6:
Picture 4) The two wires, which stand together, I twist each other into each other until about 2 cm from the end.
Picture 5) Twist the upstanding parts at the top of the stone, 2 turns.
Picture 6) Then twist the pencil in between and with one turn, then all under the pencil again, which you can then pull out. This creates the loop for the chain.
Steps 7-9:
Picture 7) I put the rest as well as the lower two ends to ornament around the stone and cross them so that they get some stability.
Picture 8) Finally, the telephone pliers are used. The single 8 wires that are left, I wrap with their help to small rosettes. Just pinch the tip and roll up. Press the rosettes a little bit and the unique is finished.
Picture 9) You can always create new patterns, there are no limits to your imagination.
With undrilled stones, it's a bit more difficult, as you have to loop the wire to hold the stone, but with a bit of practice, that's pretty easy.
I tried to give the pictures a step-by-step guide and hope it has become reasonably understandable.
Have fun trying.
