Cooking or baking time: 20 min.
Total preparation time: 35 min.

I had some puff pastry left and brought some fresh apricots from the market this morning and so I baked some apricot platters for our coffee. They do not do much work and they can be made up very quickly.

For afternoon coffee they will certainly taste good and I can only recommend baking!

ingredients

  • 4 slices of frozen puff pastry
  • some marmalade for brushing (apricot or another variety)
  • 1/2 apricot per danish piece
  • 1 whisked egg

preparation

Step 1:

Thicken the puff pastry sheets for 10 minutes, then coat the long edges with some of the whisked egg, overlap and roll out.

Now the edge of the dough pieces with egg is brushed and more round dough pieces gouged out. These are then provided in the middle again with a small hole and placed on the apricots.

Step 4:

The surface of the particles is again coated with egg and the baking tray is pushed for 20 minutes in the oven preheated to 170 degrees.

After cooling the plunderblock these may be beautified to your heart's content.
