Small tools that make everyday life easier
Sometimes, over the years, different things are not so easy to do and you may need tools for different activities.
I have been using two aids regularly for about a year. Due to my rheumatic disease I have problems with my wrists and no longer have the strength to open glasses or even bottles.
With the lever in the upper part of the picture, I put on the edge of a glass (red cabbage, beans, cherries, etc.) and hook the lever in there. With a short jerk against the vacuum, the glass can then be opened without any problems.
With the 2nd part in the picture I can open bottles quite normally and with the other side, which I select at a bottleneck (no matter whether pet or glass) according to the cap size of the bottle and then I pat cover, I can with relatively little effort the closure turn up.
This causes no pain to my joints and there are articles for little money in the trade or Internet.
I am glad that I discovered the two, otherwise I would eventually starve or die of thirst :-)
