Snowman and fir tree pendant from old buttons
A quick tinkering, which is certainly fun for children: snowman and Christmas tree from old buttons!
Most have some tin with old buttons and you never really need them. But children can e.g. make a gift or Christmas tree pendant from it:
Only colored matching buttons and thin flower wire are needed.
- You put different size buttons in the open hand, so you get an idea, which buttons fit together.
- The wire is now threaded from the top of each in a buttonhole and so one rows button by button.
- If you have 4 holes, make sure to use the opposite holes otherwise it will go awry.
- When done, pull the wire up a little to make a loop to hang, and turn it down a few times. It is good if you have a "hollowed out"? Button as conclusion takes, so that one sees nothing of the wire lock.
On the Christmas tree you can still give a star, possibly tape and attach this little craft work is done.
