Soften dried dough or salt dough again

The grandson of my grandchildren often gets dry, because we do not put away the things they made so quickly.

Now we have considered how to solve the problem, on the cardboard was that you can take water, we have made and kneaded a little water in the dried plasticine. For some varieties, this was also quite good, but for some it did not work, the clay became crumbly.

Since we have just taken neutral cooking oil and then it worked great. Everything was supple and the children could start.

We started with a few drops of oil, let it soak up and added more if needed.

With dry salt dough we have similar experience.

Maybe someone has the same problems here.
