Soot helps with plant growth

Already the old winegrowers took slates around the vineyards, so that the plants grow faster.

Studies have shown that soot in the soil makes plants grow faster. Not because it serves as a fertilizer, but the soil temperature is increased by the addition of soot.

So charcoal and soot from the fireplace is no longer handed over to me in the garbage bin, but given to the bed in which my vines live.

So far, it has only been good for them and we have a copious harvest.

Unfortunately for the pleasure of the surrounding living birds.
