Soup too salty? Take raw potato pieces

Is the soup sometimes "in love", i. too salty, it helps to cook small diced raw potato pieces for a while to cook. The potato pieces absorb some of the excess salt and the soup becomes more edible again.

But do not fit potatoes to the soup, you can try the potato pieces in a tied tea strainer, a clean (!) Dishcloth or similar. to bundle, but this is not as effective as free swimming around pieces.
