Sour cream cake with tangerines

ingredients
For the dough:
- 4 separate eggs
- 1/4 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 pck of vanilla sugar
- 1/4 cup of lukewarm water
- 1 cup of flour
- some baking soda
For covering:
- 2 cups of sour cream
- 3 cups of cream
- 1 bag of instant beverage powder Orange (available from Edeka)
- 2 small canned tangerines
- a little grated chocolate for flavoring
preparation
Dough:
- Beat the egg whites with lemon and sugar until stiff.
- Beat the egg yolks with a 1/2 cup sugar and vanilla sugar. Then there is water, flour and baking soda.
- Place the egg whites under the dough.
- Put the dough on a baking tray.
Baking time: approx. 30 minutes at 170 ° C in a preheated oven
Allow the finished cake to cool well.
TIP: Bake the cake the day before!
Covering:
- Drain the tangerines well.
- Beat the cream. Stir the Instand beverage powder into the firm cream.
- Cover the cooled cake with sour cream.
- Distribute the drained tangerines on the cake.
- Spread the orange cream on the tangerines with a spoon. Finally, decorate the cake with some grated chocolate.
The whole thing may sound a little complicated, but it's easy and tastes great.
