Spicy meat casserole from the pressure cooker

I was really looking forward to cooking another dish in my Fissler vitafit comfort. This time a spicy mincemeat pot with peppers and potatoes.

Ingredients for 4-5 servings

  • 5 medium potatoes
  • 2 red peppers (of course, everyone can choose which color to take)
  • 500 g of mixed minced meat
  • 2 shallots
  • 1 large garlic clove
  • black pepper from the mill
  • salt
  • paprika
  • Chili, either 1/2 pod fresh or dried, as a powder
  • 750 ml vegetable broth
  • Oregano, dried
  • 5-6 tablespoons tomato paste

preparation

  1. Peel and dice the potatoes. Halve the pepper, remove the core. Make sure that no cores are left. Also carefully remove the white partitions. Then cut the pieces of paprika into strips and then into small pieces.
  2. Peel the shallots and then finely chop, peel garlic and finely chop.
  3. Put the Fissler vitafit comfort on the stove and add some oil. (I took a good olive oil because it fits very well, but you can decide for yourself which oil to take). Heat the oil and then sauté the shallots and garlic in the hot oil. Add the minced meat and sauté until it is properly color. Season with salt, pepper, rose paprika and chilli to taste. I prefer this dish with some sharpness. For this reason, I like to take a little more chili powder and rose paprika. Then I add some oregano, but not too much so that it does not overpower the taste. Stir well.
  4. Put the vegetable stock in the pot and then the tomato paste. Stir again thoroughly. The potato and pepper pieces, which I had previously thoroughly washed under running water and allowed to drain, then come into the pot. Stir and then close the pressure cooker properly.
  5. Set the stove to the highest setting and when the yellow ring appears on the valve, lower the stove to low heat. When the green ring "pops up", the cooking time begins. It's only 10 minutes here. When these are up, take pot from the plate and wait until the rings have returned to the valve. Then the Fissler vitafit comfort can be opened.
  6. Stir, possibly season again and serve. We like to eat fresh baguette.

Good Appetite!

Info:

I would like to mention again, which offers some really enormous time savings of the SKT of Fissler.

Now that I have "used" him a few times, I'm really familiar with the handling and know exactly how to handle it.

The Fissler vitafit comfort will certainly get a priority place in the cooking, because it is simply much faster to prepare meals and the method of cooking is gentler.

The traffic light function does the rest to facilitate the preparation.

I hope everyone who participated in the product test has had the same good experiences, and I look forward to using the SKT in the future for many familiar but also new dishes.

The only thing that I do not like about the Fissler pressure cooker is its weight, but that has other reasons and is not considered by me as a negative aspect.

In any case, I wish all testers a lot of fun!
