Straight right Knitted does not roll in anymore

After the ready knitting of the scarves I wanted to give away, I noticed that the upper and lower ends of my scarf rolled up to the right side because it was knitted smooth right. I should have known, but for years I had no wool under my fingers.

Here is the trick that can be used to create a "smooth" solution:

  • Pin the knitted part with extra-long pins (*) on the ironing board.
  • Complain with a damp cloth (in my case guest towels) and let it lie until the cloths have released the moisture into the fabric and have become dry.

Alternative: If the knit allows it because of the pattern, you can also gaaaanz careful ironing over it with a damp cloth and try to smooth ... (steaming) - was in my case not indicated, because otherwise I would have flattened the knobs.

As can be seen in the photos, I have not put the cloths over the edges left / right, so as not to unnecessarily bring kinks in the round scarf ...

(*) I like to use the extra long pins when I want to pinch skirt or pants seams: You can better capture the excess fabric length (before the final cut) and the "planned" hem falls more beautiful and can be corrected easily.
