Got a glass of plum jam from my daughter, then I remembered that my mom used to make Buchteln with plum jam, they were delicious.
Never baked them myself, worked well, and they've become so fluffy and delicious.

- 650 g wheat flour type 550
- 75 g of sugar
- 50 g butter
- 250 ml of warm milk
- 30 g of fresh yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 40 g of liquid butter for brushing
- Plum jam for the filling
- Powdered sugar for dusting

Dissolve the yeast in the warm milk and knead all the ingredients together until the dough comes off the edge of the bowl. Cover for 1 hour at room temperature. The dough has increased well after one hour.
Briefly knead the dough on a baking tray.
Now roll the dough into a roll and cut off 12 pieces of dough.
Press the dough flat, add the plum jam, turn it upside down and turn it over.
Lubricate a 32-pan baking tin and dust with flour, put in the dough pieces, brush with liquid butter and let rest for 30 minutes. In the meantime, preheat the oven to 200 ° top and bottom heat.
Bake baking tin in the second bottom rail. Bake at 200 ° for 10 minutes, then lower the temperature to 180 °. Finish baking for 20 minutes.
