Stuffed peppers with tomato sauce

Time

Total preparation time: 1 hr. 15 min.

Depending on whether you are good eaters, the recipe for 4 - 8 people and tastes suuuuuper!

You take:

  • 8 peppers (colors as desired)

Remove the lid and free it from the stem. Cut the lids (without stem ...) into small pieces and set aside.

  • 2 packets of passed tomatoes a 500ml
  • 1 cup of sour cream
  • 1 onion
  • 1 clove garlic chopped
  • Salt, pepper, sweet peppers, curry, Piri Piri or similar
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • Vegetable broth Instant or 1/2 Maggi cube
  • 2 teaspoons of TK-8 herbs

preparation

  1. Sweat the onions (of course diced ...) and the garlic in a little oil with not too much heat.
  2. Add the chopped pieces of paprika and sauté.
  3. Then add the passed tomatoes and the sour cream and mix with the o.g. Season ingredients according to taste.
  4. Bring to a boil and pour into a large casserole dish or 2 small (but later they may have to stand next to each other in the oven) so that the 8 peppers can later find their place there.

then...

  • 1000 g minced meat
  • 1 onion
  • 1 garlic clove pressed or chopped
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 handful of breadcrumbs
  • Salt, pepper, sweet peppers, Piri Piri or similar
  • 2 teaspoons of TK-8 herbs
  1. ... mix, season and fill the peppers with them. Then put the stuffed peppers in the tomato sauce.
  2. For top / bottom heat 30-45 minutes at 180 degrees middle rail.
  3. I turn off the oven after 30 minutes and leave the whole 10 minutes in the hot oven.

Unfortunately, I can not make the time more accurate and also make no mention of the hot air oven, since my oven does not meet the standard and verkokelt everything with hot air after a short time ...

I also serve curry rice.
