This is a recipe for a juicy-yummy sugar-butter cake that's baked easy and fast!
ingredients
For the dough:
- 120 g of sugar
- 1 p. Vanilla sugar
- 3 eggs
- 140 g soft butter
- 300 g of flour
- 2 teaspoons of soda
- 1 pinch of salt
- 250 ml buttermilk (maybe a little more).
For covering:
- 150 g of sugar
- 100 g of sliced almonds
- 125 g butter and 1 cup (200 ml) cream.
preparation
- First, the oven is preheated to 200 ° C (top / bottom heat).
- Then beat the sugar and vanilla sugar with the eggs in a mixing bowl with the hand mixer until well frothy and stir in the soft butter.
- The flour is then mixed with the sodium bicarbonate and a pinch of salt and gradually added to the mixture alternately with the buttermilk.
- Now lay out a baking sheet with baking paper and distribute the liquid dough on it.
- Mix the sugar and almonds for the toppings and sprinkle over them, then add the butter in small flakes and from there into the preheated oven.
- Baking at 200 ° C for about 25-30 minutes, until the surface of the cake is nice golden brown (make a stick sample!).
