Matching the World Cup: football cake, simple and delicious!

Now that I have not discovered this recipe on "TheFruitAndFlowerBasket", I hope it is new!


However, I find it always difficult for a cake, which you also have to cut to fill, to give a correct amount of the dough. Each oven is different, the baking trays different. I took for the cake a square cake springforming, which is not as big as the baking sheet and the dough is thicker and is better to cut.

If you often make dough or biscuit for the tin, you have your own recipe for the soil. Of course you can take that too!

ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 250 g of sugar
  • 1 pck of vanilla sugar
  • 1 cup of oil
  • 1 cup of mineral water
  • 3 cups of flour
  • 1 pck of baking soda
  • 2 cups whipped cream
  • San Apart or Sahnesteif
  • 1 bag of TK raspberries, thawed
  • 3 tbsp sugar 250-350 g powdered sugar
  • Green food coloring (powder)
  • Gummy bears as a player

preparation

  1. Mix eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar, baking powder, oil, mineral water and flour in the food processor very well.
  2. Spread on baking tray / baking tray (do not forget baking paper) and bake at 170 C degrees circulating air for about 20-30 minutes.
  3. Allow to cool, cut across.
  4. For the filling, beat the whipped cream with sugar and San Apart / Sahnesteif, spread on the lower half of the cake, and add the raspberries. Place the second cake piece.
  5. Now mix icing sugar with a little water, keep a little in a small bag (for the lines).
  6. Stir in green food color. Make sure that the glaze is sufficiently thick, it should not be too liquid (runs too strong).
  7. Now apply the green glaze. After a short drying time, cut off a tiny piece of the bag corner and use it as a piping bag. Now draw lines, penalty area, goals ect. Decorate the gummy bears as a player, ready.

The kids are wild on the cake and it tastes great!
