Sunflower seeds for the salad - sprouted as sprouts & roasted
You can turn a green salad into a delicacy, with sunflower seeds in two ways. Sprouted and roasted!
The first method:
Germinate. 3 tablespoons of sunflower seeds are rinsed off and put in a glass jar in a damp place.
Rinse the contents in a colander every day, preferably twice. On the window sill, the seeds germinate magnificently.
After 3 days you have small crisp sunflower seedlings.
The second method:
3 tablespoons sunflower seeds are roasted in a dry pan with frequent turning.
Now you wash the lettuce, throw it dry and prepare a salad sauce 2 tablespoons lemon juice and 3 tablespoons sunflower oil and pepper, salt and a pinch of sugar.
The salad is mixed in a bowl with the sauce and the two types of kernels are sprinkled over it.
Really delicious!
