Swabian spaetzle - do it yourself

For delicious homemade Swabian spaetzle you need the following:

ingredients

  • 500g flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 250 ml of water
  • 2 teaspoons salt

preparation

  1. Put all ingredients in a larger bowl
  2. Knead well with a dough hook or food processor
  3. When everything is kneaded well, bring a pot of water to a boil
  4. Once this cooks, add salt
  5. Add the dough in portions to the spaetzle press and press the spaetzle into the lightly boiling water
  6. As soon as the spaetzle swim up in the water, they are ready!
