Swiss chard noodles with sheep's cheese - not only for vegetarians

Here for a change, a vegetarian dish that should convince even a dedicated meat fan. ;)

ingredients

  • 1 packet of Schupfnudeln (there's u.a. in the freezer shelf)
  • 1 Swiss chard
  • 1 packet of sheep or feta cheese (fresh from the market tastes best of course)
  • 1 onion
  • Olive oil and rama / butter

preparation

First fry the potato noodles in a pan with a little olive oil until golden brown. Then remove the potato noodles, allow to cool and sauté the thinly chopped chard (with or without stalk) with a diced onion and 2 tablespoons Rama / butter, turning gently. Carefully crumble the sheep or feta cheese over it and let the ingredients simmer on medium for about 5 minutes. Finally, add the potato noodles, simmer the pan again for about 1 minute and then serve with fresh baguette.

If you want, you can replace the chard with fresh leaf spinach and use mozzarella instead of sheep's or feta cheese.

Good Appetite!
