Tasty and healthy: Grünkernauflauf
Even the non-vegetarian misses nothing! Delicious and healthy! Vegetarian GREENKERNAUFLAUF.
Super easy - Super pleasure, for 4 people:
Heat 1/2 tsp of olive or rapeseed oil / medium heat, 250 g of green kernel / whole grains and 1 onion / diced, stir fry for about 2 minutes, add 3/4 l of hot water / grain should be about 3 finger-deep covered with liquid , Stir in 2 vegetable stock cube / or powder. Reduce the heat so that the dish is lightly simmered with the lid closed. Approximately Cook for 40-45 minutes. Switch off the stove, leave the pot on the plate.
Let green kernels cool completely. Prepared so that the pot can be stored in the refrigerator for 1-2 days or in the open air until it is cold in cold temperatures.
Add 5 small or 4 large eggs to the grains, pepper, salt if necessary, 1 paprika, 3 small carrots dice and stir in the mixture. Put everything in a casserole dish (possibly lightly brushed with oil).
Spread 2 large or 3 medium sliced tomatoes on the mixture, lightly press, add 1/2 tsp olive oil dropwise over the tomatoes.
Preheat oven top / bottom heat 200 degrees, shape on top of the grid, bake middle bar for approx. 40 - 50 minutes, eventually more, until the surface is no longer liquid, the egg mass is blocked and has a browning.
Lower the temperature to 175 degrees, spread 150 grams of grated Emmentaler on the surface and bake the casserole to the desired browning of the cheese in the oven.
The casserole should cool down for about 30 minutes or only be warm so that the aromas can develop better. Even at room temperature, it tastes great with a colorful salad or lamb's lettuce.
