Tasty rabbit's ear (rabbit ears)

This delicious Hasenöhrl was today for coffee and of course I like to share the recipe with you. The Hasenöhrl (rabbit ears) are very sweet with powdered sugar sprinkled with coffee, cocoa or tea, but they also taste great with a strong beef soup as a side dish, but then without powdered sugar.


  • 500g flour
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • a good shot of milk
  • 1 cup of sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • Fat for baking


Put all ingredients in a large bowl and knead well, then rest for 1/2 hour in the refrigerator.

First, always roll out some dough thinly and cut medium sized triangles from the dough, then heat the fat to bake and bake the triangles in golden brown from both sides when they are slightly chilled sprinkle with powdered sugar.
