Tax identification number and social security number

These two numbers are needed every now and again and they are different numbers.

Forgotten tax identification number

If you do not have / know your tax identification number or have no idea where it gets it from, write an e-mail to the following address: [email protected]. The mail must contain the following information: Name, first name, address, date of birth and place of birth The tax identification number will then be sent by post.

The social security number can be obtained from the health insurance company.

The difference between the two numbers can be recognized by the fact that the social security number contains the date of birth (eight digits) and the first letter of the birth name (capitalized), before and after this information are still some numbers, but not interesting (in any case, not to recognize the difference between the two numbers).

The two numbers should be written down in a place that is always easy to find. Making some copies after receiving the tax identification number to pass on to employer or the like, is not wrong.
