Terracotta - so terracotta pots stay beautiful

Everyone knows the problem, terracotta pots become gray and ugly over time. This is due to the calcareous tap water, which evaporates through the pot. The lime then stays behind. At the same time, heat is also removed from the earth (heat of evaporation), which is very disadvantageous for the rooting and growth of the plants.

Although it is possible to clean unsightly pots with a steel brush, this must be done regularly.

It would be better to use only rainwater or surface water. Bottling at the next creek. The calcification can be greatly reduced and the plant will thank you.

It is even better to line the pots with a foil from the inside and then fill with soil and plug in the plant. This not only keeps the terracotta pots indefinitely beautiful, but a cooling of the roots can no longer take place, since heat and moisture are isolated by the film.
