That's how I feel right

Many wonder how to weigh yourself correctly, every day, or once a week, or even once a month?

It is best to look for a specific day of the week to weigh yourself, and always at the same time, because the body weight fluctuates by about 1-2 kilos during a single day. As the amount of absorbed or discharged liquid or water retention.

Ideal as it has been for a long time, always in the morning after the first use of the toilet. I always weigh myself on a Sunday morning. People who are not on a diet can weigh themselves every 2-4 weeks just to keep the weight under control.

Important for me when weighing:

  • weigh unclothed
  • weigh soberly
  • Weigh in the morning after the toilet

But what does the weight tell us?

Mostly you only see the number on the scale and do not consider that the total weight is displayed with all components such as body fat, muscle percentage, water content and of course bone and blood. This means that when you increase or decrease not necessarily the body fat has increased or reduced, but like the water content or muscle mass ...

info

As already mentioned in my previous tip on Libra, here come my experience and the features of the great bathroom scale.

First, there is a note that is also in the operating instructions: The product is not suitable for persons with electronic implants (eg pacemakers).

features

  • Body analysis to measure body fat, body water and muscle
  • Storage of data up to 8 people
  • Determination of calorie demand called athlete mode
  • Soehnle Connect App (for iOS, Android, Bluethooth)

What is very interesting for me is the ability to connect via Bluetooth with the smartphone or tablet to save your own values, which works great with Soehnle App, which is easily installed on Google Play or in the App Store. This app is also compatible with Google Fit and Apple Health. So I can see my data at any time, for. B which showed my last measurement and how much I have currently taken, etc. So I see exactly the difference for the last time. You can z. B set his desired weight in the app, then you can see exactly how many kilos you still need to get to the destination.

Up to 8 people can log in, use the scales and save their values, which is very convenient for a large family. As you can see in the picture, person 7 is set. So every person can save their own values, but of course also by app.

The carrying capacity of the scale is 200 kilos, more than the usual household scales.

Very interesting is the body analysis (BIA) to calculate the daily needs, this one sets his own data, z. B male / female, how active one is and of course the age, the balance then calculates very well how much the person should eat calories a day.

The beautiful flat design of the scales I liked very well from the beginning, large enough to stand comfortably on it, a large well-lit LCD display, after 40 seconds, the balance automatically turns off after not using again.

On the whole, I'm very happy with Libra, though I do not use the many features constantly, sometimes you just want to know how much you weigh. From time to time every two weeks, it's fun to check and compare the previous values.

The only negative point for me was, the approaching and learning, certainly not for everyone, because even the operating instructions in my opinion, not enough information. I just tried everything together with my daughter until I knew how the scale works exactly. For athletes or people like me who just want to lose weight - certainly a very good device with a good price-performance ratio.
