The trick with the grave vase in the flower pot

On our doorstep, under the roof, a large clay pot is filled with earth and long, decorated branches. Some visitors wonder how I manage to grow tulips in spring, roses or mixed flowers in summer, and keep them unlikely, even though this is the eastern side ...

Here I use a trick: I use one of these green plastic grave vases, which are inserted by means of their lower spit into the ground. ONLY I "hide" the whole vase in the earth, fill it with water and put in fresh flowers - depending on the season - from Aldi or Lidl. Thus, the flowers are always fresh and have a fantastic "growth" ... Around the clay pot are depending on the season, other plants that cover the edge of the flower vase with their tendrils. Also fresh lilac and pretty branches of all kinds as well as flowers from our garden find in the hidden vase varied use.
