The versatile Chinese cabbage
Such a giant head Chinese cabbage is enough for two meals that taste very different. As a salad and as a vegetable stew with bacon, because it is very versatile.
Cut into a tomato salad, it gives "crunch" and freshness. And as a vegetable with cream, bacon and Kapü he is really full.
To the salad:
4 tomatoes, cut into halved rings
1 small onion
4 large leaves of Chinese cabbage, cut into bite-sized pieces
Sauce made: 3 tablespoons olive oil, 2 tablespoons vinegar, 1 teaspoon mustard, salt and pepper, a pinch of sugar
Mix everything together with bread.
As a vegetable, almost a stew:
1 kg Chinese cabbage, cut into pieces
100 g bacon cubes
3 tbsp sour cream
1 tbsp flour
1 chopped onion
Pepper, salt, Worcestershire sauce, 2 splashes
2 pressed cooked potatoes
The cabbage is mixed with the bacon, the flour is dusted over it, 1 tablespoon of water and steamed on low heat.
The onion and the sour cream, as well as the spices, are lifted and everything must simmer gently for 5 minutes

Finally, for binding and flavor, stir in the squeezed potatoes.
