Through empty tube / flexible tube - easily pull through cables / lines

In order to get larger cables or other, through a conduit, it is often not enough to push the cable from one side.

Therefore you get in the hardware store or elsewhere, such (usually rigid) plastic cable, with a round top front, that it better "slips" to then pull the cable through the empty tube.

Many will agree with me, but that is not always easy, this rigid plastic cable to get through the empty tube, since often a long distance with curves and other bends, to bridge. (Especially with flexible tubes, where then the plastic cable, in these lamellae)

I came up with the idea when I spent hours trying to bring this "Kunstoffzugkabel" through the flexible tube, had no nerve. Then, as you know, you are inventive ... :)

(That had worked well by the way, as I wanted to get an underground cable, through the previously criss-cross laid flex pipes, in my garden)

So now to my tip, which I had talked about all the time.

My advice:

Take the vacuum cleaner, go to one end of the empty pipe, switch it on and try to keep the connection between the vacuum cleaner and the empty pipe tight by hand or adhesive tape.

Someone else take a "thick-airy" wool thread and let it slowly one after the other, at the other end of the empty tube, in this "disappear".

Now (if the thread has arrived at the vacuum cleaner), take the "plastic pull cable" (or similar) and pull it with the wool thread through the whole empty tube.

So, now you can pull the power cable or whatever, comfortably through the empty tube. (Of course, with silicone oil, this is even easier on the stage) I hope it is helpful for you.
